Van Go

Yesterday we waved "bye-bye" to this massive monstrosity. A couple of years ago we received this beast from the church in Tachikawa because they had to get rid of it - you see, Tokyo doesn't allow diesel vehicles anymore. She was a very roomy machine and really helped us out several times. But, she was also expensive and so ginormous that she wouldn't fit in most parking lots. After her insurance and "shyaken" expired she was just a large eye-sore on the church property. Finally we made arrangements and had her taken to be "put down." On the side of the van it says, "God is love." But, can you ever really wave good-bye to "God's love"? I don't think so!

I am the first to comment! Ha! So, do you all have any more transportation than scooters now? Is this a different van than the one you had when I was there Christmas 2003? Where is the picture taken where you are putting your foot up? What are you doing anyway? JK!
